In this mini recap of Episode 44, we dip back into the mythical waters of Lake Michigan, covering everything from bifurcated mermaids, CAKE, and solarpunk.
Hey Joe, Georgia, and Nick! How are you? :) Glad you're having a lazy Sunday! :) That is relaxing and cool :).
I hope to see Lake Michigan the next time I'm in Chicago (and would like to see it if I go to other parts of the Midwest) :). LOL funny remarks about backdoor and backyard. I heard a bit about Solarpunk and would like to read some Solarpunk books.
Yeah, mermaid lore is interesting :). I'd like to read more mermaid stories. I hadn't been to CAKE. But, I hope to check it out when I'm Chicago (the next time I'm there) :). One of my friends, C.W. Rose, wrote a book called "Oceansong" about mermaid.
As of 6:12 AM (PST), I don't think I saw the photos on the Substack, but no rush to post them :). I'm happy to answer the questions. The podcast is awesome and you ask excellent questions :). Congratulations on 10,000 downloads! That's wonderful :) Proud of you, Georgia, Joe, and Nick :D Yes - Rabbit Hole of Research is the best podcast from Chicagoland :D! Both of the podcasts Georgia mentioned sound awesome!! I need to catch up on Peacemaker :). And, I hope to see more of Gilmore Girls too :). It definitely is comforting to watch shows like these :). Take care, everyone! Have fun! I'm so excited for the next episodes, particularly the one recorded at your home!
Great discussion :) Hope everyone is doing well! :D.
Oops, my apologies. I wonder if a browser issue caused me to miss them when I commented. Either way, I apologize, and I appreciate you posting the photos.
Happy to share the pictures :). The podcast episode is thought provoking and you, Georgia, and Nick always do a nice job :) :D. Take care, my friend! :) :D.
No, it was my fault. I forgot to put the images in the original post. I had them ready, but…life…😂 thanks for sharing your awesome inspiring images. Cheers!
Future episode ideas suggestions (no pressure to take on any of them):
- Planetary Defense
- Ice powers (like with Iceman)
- Flight (especially flying powers)
- Daredevil and sensory perception
- Mermaids
I might have some ideas for guests (in general; not necessarily for the above topics). May I email them to you? :)
Sounds great. You can send an email if you have guest ideas.
Cool! :) I'll try to email you either tonight or sometime over the next couple days :). Thanks.
