Hey Joe, Nick, and Georgia! :D

No, no AI voices please lol.

Episode 42 is great! When was it recorded? (I'm curious since Georgia said it was recorded a while ago haha). And yep, I'm long-winded. Traveling to Mars is awesome. I read it at a book club.

Yeah, it was eye opening for me when I met someone from France, and I heard about her points about welfare and working hours. It was so different than the discourse in the U.S. (And I've heard similar points from another friend I met from Europe). Europe's not perfect but it was intriguing how different the viewpoints are in Europe than in the U.S. Some European countries have shorter work weeks than the U.S. too.

You're right, Joe. A lot of people are definitely working longer, especially due to high costs and no more pensions (there are 401Ks, but those are much less stable and reliable than pensions).

What? Wow. That's concerning how some schools in Gary, Indiana just have kids watch TV/educational programs instead of having teachers. That is so dystopian and surreal.

Thank you, Joe, Nick, and Georgia for your responses, thoughts, and kindness :) I appreciate you!!

I'm excited for you, and I would love to listen to you on Ben's podcast :)

A watch party would be cool :) I'd try to make it :) That's awesome that there will be a release party for the anthology. Congratulations, my friend! I wish I could go to the release party, but I'm too far away lol.

Have a great time at DragonCon :) That's awesome!!

I got "Leverage" as well :) I'm stoked.

I need to read "Take a Breath, Big Red Monster". The Superman movie is incredible. I LOVE it :). Awesome episode! Have a nice day, everyone! Take care :)

PS. I didn't add this to my YouTube comment as I just thought of it now, but I recommend "Where the Axe Is Buried" by Ray Nayler. It's a dystopian sci-fi book that touches on some of the topics discussed in the episode (AIs, leisure, capitalism, etc).

Alex, thanks for listening and the comments. We appreciate them!

The episode was recorded April 30th. Where the Axe is Buried sounds like a great book. I’ll add it to my growing TBR pile.😊

Thank you Joe! I appreciate you, Nick, and Georgia :]

Wow :) That was a few months back. Understandable though - it's not easy to schedule times to meet and chat. I hope you enjoy Where the Axe is Buried when you read it. It is really good. A bit confusing but it is timely and great.
