Hey Alex, Thanks for listening. The Fantastic Four animated series is on Disney+, it's a fun watch. I enjoyed the movie and looking forward to seeing it again. So, tough question. My favorite Fantastic Four character is Mr. Fantastic himself (even though he has the most Handwavium power, LOL). I alway enjoy the intellectual witty characters (like Tony Stark and T'Challa). But I kinda like all 4 of them for different reasons.

Hey Joe! You're welcome :) I really like the podcast.

Sweet! Is that the 60s animated show?

I love the film. And that's cool. Mr. Fantastic is great. I love his intelligence and I really like characters who are really good with engineering (though I have mixed views about Stark due to his stance in Civil War). :)

All 4 of the F4 are great. :D.

Thank you for your response :) Take care, buddy :).

Hey Joe, Nick, and Georgia :)

LOL Georgia's comments are hilarious :) I hadn't heard of Clarence H. Alexander. His abilities sound intriguing.

Each episode is cool! I really like your episodes about the Fantastic Four :) I think my favorite ones are the conversation with Jonathan Maberry and discussion with Dr. Dowell. I love the Fantastic Four film :) I never saw the Fantastic Four cartoon show except the clip of Magneto being defeated by a wooden gun LOL. But I had fun watching the film and felt it was great. I think Georgia makes a good point about backstory. I felt that it was adequate with covering the backstory but I've also read a few comics so now that I think about it, they could have included a bit more for those with little to no knowledge about the Fantastic Four.

Yeah, I got a bit nervous when Reed got super stretched by Galactus. I heard someone else say that Reed should've had some more action scenes, and I agree with that, but I enjoyed it a lot :). I agree with Nick. It was cool seeing Ben Grimm being liked and not feared. I think if he was feared, that would add another plotline and make the movie too cluttered. But, the movie was tightly written and had a great story as is :). Joe, you made a great point about oxygen and Johnny Storm. I wonder what he is losing and how he is able to flame up, particularly given (as you said) there is not enough oxygen. I guess it is handwavium lol.

Great analogy between Thing and Beast. They are definitely alike - gentle guys who can't hide who they are. That is why I like them both. They're both kind and I find them relatable. I agree with you, Nick, about how Mr. Fantastic acknowledges mistakes and gets even more cautious and doubtful afterwards. I found that so relatable too.

The sets and art design are wonderful. Like you, I like how there are no other superheroes on this Earth. That makes it make even more sense, particularly since they can't call on Thor or Wanda or Hulk to help them battle Galactus. Galactus felt a bit one dimensional to me, but I agree - it's great he wasn't a storm cloud and he was intimidating.

I agree, Joe. They did a great job in developing characters and stories even though there were six major characters. It's just like the Guardians of the Galaxy in that regard - large cast but each character and story is well developed. I am so excited to see Dr. Doom! I recently read "Books of Doom" and it was really good. He is well written and is so intelligent and scary. He will be tough to stop.

I'm stoked for the time travel episode and water episode especially. :) I love tuning in weekly. Awesome discussion. You three are the Fantastic Three :D. Have fun!!
